Soar Valley Public School Pithoragarh is a Senior Secondary Private School affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. It is located in the heart of the city Pithoragarh and was established in 1982. The great scholar and educationist Late Mr. I.D. Pant was the inspirational personality of this school. The learned and kind-hearted doctor, Dr. N.C. Pathak, was the first chairman of this reputed institution.
Under the chairmanship of late Dr. N.C. Pathak, the school received many prestigious awards. Established under the visionary guidance of Shri I.D. Pant and Dr. N.C. Pathak with the motto “Tamso Ma Jyotirgamay”, the school has since become a center of excellence in education.
The school has now completed more than 43 years of imparting quality education. At present, it is moving steadily towards excellence under the guidance of Chairperson Dr. Uma Pathak. NCERT curriculum is followed with modern teaching techniques, smart classes and updated learning tools.
